Samvaad

It was a great pleasure to have Ms. Sangeeta Talwar as Chief Guest for Samvaad, the annual business conclave conducted by NMP participants. She spoke on the importance of sustainability in order to ensure business profitability and survival. She also emphasized on how we, as future business leaders, should have the courage to let go of established practices and go against the grain.

MDI hosted Samvaad 2018- The 4th Annual Business Leadership Conclave organized by the students of National Management Programme (1-year full-time MBA for executives). The theme for this year was “SUSTAINABILITY-THE KEY TO BUSINESS SUCCESS”. This year the conclave saw industry experts from companies like Tata Steel, Siemens, Michelin, Ford, Huawei, Grofers, Lava International, Alembic Pharma, and IOCL.

The event was kick-started by Prof. Atmanand, Director(Additional Charge), MDI Gurgaon and Prof. Ashutosh Dash, Chairperson Student Affairs in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest Ms. Sangeeta Talwar, creator of iconic brands like Maggi, Tata Tea, and Barbie in India.

Chief Guest for Samvaad 2018 is Ms. Sangeeta Talwar, Managing Partner, FlyVision Consulting.
Sangeeta Talwar was one of the first women in the FMCG sector in India and has blazed several new trails.
In an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, she helped to launch and establish the marketing legend Maggi 2-Minute Noodles. She also steered Tata Tea into becoming the largest tea brand in India with the “Jaago Re” campaign being the first social marketing campaign.
She has featured in Business Today’s 30 Most Powerful Women and has worked across large European, American and Indian multinational companies.
She currently serves as an Independent Director on several Boards. Her recent book “The 2-Minute Revolution, The Art of Growing Businesses is based on her experiences in corporate India.
