This year’s World Environment Day theme, β€œInspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”, reminds us that every small action today can create a greener and healthier tomorrow. πŸ’šπŸŒΏ

On 5 June 2026, children across Sukarya’s Education On Wheels (EOW) Project intervention areas celebrated the day with great enthusiasm and active participation. πŸŽ‰πŸŒ±

A total of 98 children participated in meaningful activities, including:

🌳 Plantation Drives
✍️ Slogan Writing
πŸ’» Virtual Environmental Awareness Sessions
🀝 Pledge-Taking Ceremonies

Through these engaging activities, children learned the importance of:

On International Menstrual Hygiene Day, an awareness session was conducted at πŸ“Israil Camp, Delhi under the project β€œAdolescent Girls and Boys Empowerment: A Step Towards Gender Equality”, supported by Hughes Systique Corporation. ✨

πŸ‘§ 50+ adolescent girls and πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ 12 parents participated in discussions on:
🩸 Menstrual hygiene
🩺 Safe sanitary pad usage and disposal
πŸ’¬ Breaking myths and period stigma

πŸ’ͺ Lead Girls actively shared their experiences, while 🎨 creative activities encouraged health awareness, confidence, and self-expression.
