*Precautions in view of Heatwawe*
To protect yourself during a heatwave in 2026, stay hydrated by *drinking water regularly (even if not thirsty), stay indoors in cool or well-ventilated areas, especially during peak hours (11 AM – 4 PM), and wear loose, light-colored cotton clothing.* Use fans or air conditioning, keep windows and curtains closed during the day, and avoid strenuous outdoor activity.
*Additional Health & Safety Measures*
*Hydration*: Drink fluids like water, lassi, lemon water, and buttermilk regularly, and use ORS for electrolytes.
*Protection & Shelter*: Cover your head with hats or clothes when outside and keep windows/curtains closed during the day to block heat.
*Vulnerable Groups*: Ensure extra care for children, the elderly, and the sick, and never leave pets or people in parked vehicles.
*Diet*: Opt for light meals, including high-water content foods like cucumber and watermelon, while avoiding alcohol, coffee, and sugary drinks.
*Emergency Steps*: Move anyone feeling ill to a cool, shaded area and seek immediate medical help for symptoms of heatstroke, such as confusion or high body temperature.
*Identifying Heat Illness Exhaustion* : Dizziness, weakness, and heavy sweating.
*Stroke*: High fever, dry skin, and unconsciousness.

🌍 *World Prithvi Diwas Celebrated with Purpose & Awareness* 🌱
All Skill & Research (ASR) Foundation proudly observed World Prithvi Diwas at the Skill Development Training Centre, Feroz Gandhi Colony, Phase-1, Gurugram, Haryana.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from women of the Cutting & Tailoring Centre and trainees engaged in making decorative items from Macrame. The session was enriched by insightful discussions led by subject experts on crucial environmental issues such as:

🌫 Minimise Pollution
🌎 Make Our Planet Healthy
Important community concerns were also addressed, encouraging collective responsibility towards a sustainable future.
An Oath Taking Ceremony was conducted, where all participants pledged to adopt eco-friendly practices and contribute actively towards protecting our environment.

*Spreading Smiles Through Learning & Care*
A heartwarming day unfolded at the Remedial Classes run by All Skill & Research (ASR) Foundation at 1st Floor, Valmiki Chaupal, Feroz Gandhi Colony, Phase-1, Gurugram, Haryana.
Writing copies and stationery kits 📚✏️ (including pencils, erasers, sharpeners, scales, and more) were lovingly distributed among underprivileged children. This thoughtful initiative was led by a dedicated group of women — Ms. Rekha Mittal, Ms. Shikha Pahuja, Ms. Rajni Gupta, Dr. Rakhi Gupta, Ms. Deepa Verma, Ms. Anu Modi, Ms. Sushila Madan, and Yog Guru Shalini Bhalla Jhamb.
The joy didn’t stop there! Delicious eatables were also shared, adding sweetness to the day and bringing bright smiles to every child’s face.
The children truly enjoyed every moment — a beautiful blend of learning, sharing, and happiness.

*Book Exchange Fair 2026 Concludes Successfully with Enthusiastic Participation!*
The much-awaited two-day Book Exchange Fair 2026 concluded on April 12, 2026 at Community Centre, Sector 10A, Gurugram, Haryana, with great utsah and overwhelming participation from all sections of society.
This meaningful initiative, jointly organized by All Skill & Research (ASR) Foundation, RWA Sector 10A, and Manvin Aasra Foundation, aimed at promoting education, nurturing reading habits, and encouraging the spirit of sharing within the community. 📖✨
The event was graciously inaugurated by *Shri Amit Yadav*, President of RWA Sector 10A. On this special occasion, he was presented with a book on the inspiring life and works of Subhash Chandra Bose.
The fair showcased a wide range of books—from Class 1 to Graduation level, including CA, Legal, Computer, Competitive Exams, Religious, and Literary genres. Renowned authors like William Shakespeare and Rajan M also drew great interest among visitors. 📚
With over 1,000+ visitors including youth, senior citizens, families, and professionals from MNCs, the response was truly overwhelming!
Shri Vinod Agarwal highlighted the generous contributions by participants, including books, stationery, water bottles, and more—making this a true community-driven effort. 🤝
Shri M. P. Sharma, President of ASR Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all supporters and volunteers. He shared that over 5,000 books were exchanged, making the event a grand celebration of knowledge, sharing, and community bonding. 🌟
