Triund is a once in a life-time trek experience especially for the first-timers.

Our First- time trekker Kunwaraj Singh who went for a trek for the first time came back with this to say, "I was very excited about my first trekking experience with my friends. We decided to do the Triund valley trek which started from a base camp near Mcleodganj. Having explored Mcleodganj for a day, we started our trek the next morning. The freshness and cool breeze was the first thing we all cherished.

"The best part was that being first-timers there we were glad we chose a moderate trek. Crossing clear water streams and sitting on rocks overlooking the valley while taking a break was blissful.

"Finally, when we reached base camp 2 at the Triund valley and saw the sunset, we were left awestruck and that is a moment which will always stay with me. Next morning, we clicked a few pictures of the mesmerising sunrise that gave the river an orange shade. We went back to base camp 1 and this trek was relatively easier as it was a downhill trek.

"Being in the arms of nature never felt that soothing to us before and what I enjoyed the most was the peace and quietness of nature. Coming back with such beautiful memories and an amazing experience, I have decided to plan a trek this year as well.
