"My Black Madonna gown is a dramatic couture interpretation of divine femininity, inspired by the enigmatic iconography of the Black Madonna — a symbol revered across cultures for strength, resilience, mystery, and spiritual power.
At the heart of the design is the monumental circular halo, a sculptural element that frames the wearer much like the sacred aureoles seen in Renaissance and Byzantine depictions of the Madonna. Reimagined in black and richly embellished with celestial motifs, the halo transforms Tarina Patel into a modern-day goddess, commanding attention from every angle on the Cannes red carpet.
The gown itself is meticulously hand-embroidered with thousands of crystals, beads, sequins, and metallic embellishments arranged in an intricate baroque-inspired pattern. The interplay of black and antique gold creates a sense of sacred opulence, evoking antique reliquaries, cathedral treasures, and regal ceremonial attire.
A plunging neckline and body-contouring silhouette lend modern sensuality, while the fitted mermaid shape elongates the figure before opening into a subtle train. The delicate crystal fringe draped across the bodice introduces movement and lightness, balancing the architectural grandeur of the halo.

Victoria Sylvestedt in Amit GT RÈVE NOIR Gown: This may be hard to believe, but Victoria Sylvstedt was actually the muse behind this gown long before she ever wore it. Then again, when one thinks of Cannes, a few iconic names instantly come to mind, and for me, Victoria and Hofit Golan have always embodied the glamour and grandeur of the festival. I was incredibly fortunate to dress both of them this year.

For Victoria, I wanted to create something that reflected her commanding presence — a look that was fierce, unapologetically bold, and undeniably sensual. The design celebrates confidence and femininity in equal measure, combining dramatic couture craftsmanship with the kind of red-carpet allure that Victoria carries so effortlessly.
