NEET UG 2026: Telegram Temporarily Restricted to Curb Paper Leak Claims

🚨 NEET UG 2026 Update

Telegram has reportedly been temporarily restricted in India till 22 June 2026 ahead of the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination scheduled on 21 June.

According to reports, the move aims to curb fake paper leak claims, examination fraud, and misinformation circulating on social media platforms.

📌 Telegram's message editing feature has also reportedly been disabled temporarily to prevent misuse.

The NTA has advised candidates not to trust any claims regarding question papers or answer keys shared online and to rely only on official sources.

Cluster University student secures fully funded PhD Position at University of Manitoba, Canada

Srinagar, June 9: Danish Illahi, an Integrated UG & PG student of Biochemistry, Cluster University of Srinagar, hailing from Pulwama has secured admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Physiology and Pathophysiology at the University of Manitoba, Canada.

The admission includes a fully funded research position with a guaranteed funding package to support his doctoral studies and research training.

His selection followed a competitive international evaluation process involving multiple stages of assessment and interviews.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Mohammad Mobin while expressing happiness on the achievement said, Danish Illahi’s success in securing a fully funded PhD position at a ‘prestigious international university’ reflects the academic rigour, research culture, and dedication of our students and faculty at the University. "We wish him continued success in his academic and research endeavours and are confident that he will make meaningful contributions to the global scientific community”. Prof Mobin said.

Faculty members and University officials also congratulated Danish on his achievement and wished him success in his future academic pursuits.

Expressing his gratitude, Danish Ilahi has conveyed special appreciation to the faculty members of the Department of Biochemistry, Sri Pratap College, Cluster University of Srinagar, for their guidance and mentorship throughout his academic journey.
