Flames XI

Things have been quite busy since last post!! We played 7 matches since then out of which we lost two matches, one against Axis power and another against Cricket lovers in a nail biting finish!

Out of 5 matches which we won, 2 were semis and one finals.
Flames night team won the finals yesterday to lift Warrior Knight cup.

Sorry guys for the loss!!! I guess we made few tactical errors!!! Will learn from the errors which we did today and will come back strong! We have been in a good habit of winning and let’s forget whatever happened today and concentrate on upcoming matches! And we have been lil bit dependent on one or two individuals and want to get over it! Expect every individual to perform consistently as then only we can win good tournaments!!

One good takeaway from today’s match was our death bowling! and bhai you guys bowled a brilliant spell!!!
And pls request not to play 2 back to back matches in this weather from now on!

Also didn’t get a chance to talk about our last week match! We had a very interesting match against Bhawani Fire! From 40/7 to a tie, It had it’s ups and downs and definitely one of the best games which Flames have played so far!

What a brilliant team effort boys!!! We didnt start well initially as gave away too many extras! But yeah as usual @⁨vineet cricket⁩ was bang on target from the very first ball and took crucial wicket of Mayank at the start! bowled an excellent spell along with @⁨sumit cricket⁩ ! @⁨sumit cricket⁩ you were unplayable today! @⁨Tariq Kler⁩ and bhai finished off the innings with brilliant spells ensuring we choke them to a mere target of 113!

We had a good start courtsey @⁨raksh*t malhotra cricket⁩ but he lost his wicket while flicking it on the on side! @⁨ashish cricket⁩ played a brilliant innings of 44 n.o.! It was well supported by Jatin and Yuvi closed it with a brilliant innings at the end!

Summer Carnival Match 1 against Spicejet

what a match boys! I guess i lost all hope by end of 17th over! It was @⁨raksh*t malhotra cricket⁩ @⁨srini 2⁩ who were still hopeful and supported the team well!!!

To start with we were lucky to get 10 penalty runs and then @⁨Pulkesh⁩ used the conditions well and scored 25 odd runs at a quick pace!!! That gave us a good start which was needed! We lost track in the middle over and struggled to rotate strike! @⁨Suhail Cricket Bulandshahr⁩ played a sensible innings in the end by taking few singles initially and then blasted 17 runs in the last over! He was well supported by bhai who scored 10 odd runs with one huge six!

Bowling wise we were bang on target from the very first ball and @⁨vineet cricket⁩ gave us an early breakthrough! @⁨Suhail Cricket Bulandshahr⁩ and @⁨vineet cricket⁩ kept bowling tight lines and reduced them to 30/3 in 5 odd overs! Then bowled a brilliant tight spell as they struggled to rotate against the left armer! bhai took two crucial wickets and they were reduced to 80/5. Then one of there batsman played a brilliant innings and Spicejet was already in a winning position when the unexpected happen! they needed 10 runs in 3 overs and 3 wickets were left! in the 18th over @⁨Suhail Cricket Bulandshahr⁩ gave away 7 runs and took one crucial wicket! Second last over (3 runs needed of 2 overs) was one of the best overs which I have seen in quite sometime now, @⁨vineet cricket⁩ bhai hats off to you for the effort! He bowled a maiden over and took two wickets! Last wicket was a runout done by Suhail and Vibhor!!!

Excellent game boys!!! This game will definitely stay in my mind for quite sometime now!!!
