Excited to share an important collaboration in advancing resilience leadership.

Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and Deakin University (Australia) are joining hands to establish a Centre of Excellence on Resilience Leadership at IITR’s Greater Noida Campus. This Centre will focus on professional training, certificate programmes, and research in disaster management, humanitarian response, and climate resilience towards strengthening capacities across globe.

The Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed on 08th December 2025 in New Delhi, in the presence of Hon’ble Jason Clare, Minister for Education of Australia; and Hon’ble Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education of India. The CoE is planned for launch in early 2026.

This partnership marks a significant step towards building stronger leadership for a safer and more resilient future.
