Governor Approves New Portfolio Allocation for Three Sikkim Ministers.

Inspection of Okhrey Gumpa Construction and Visit to Alley Dara and Gaythang Khola

The Hon’ble Speaker of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly and Area MLA of Daramdin Constituency, M. N. Sherpa, visited Okhrey Gumpa to review the proposed construction and development plans of the sacred site. During the visit, discussions were held regarding the construction of various structures and the placement of religious elements within the premises to enhance the spiritual and cultural significance of the gumpa.

Following the inspection, the Speaker also visited Alley Dara and Gaythang Khola to assess the condition of the area and explore possibilities for its development and promotion. Gaythang Khola had previously suffered severe damage due to a landslide which had nearly destroyed the site. As part of efforts to revive and promote the place, a statue of Lord Hanuman was recently installed there under the initiative of the Hon’ble Speaker.

तिब्बती बौद्ध समुदायबाट आएको रिपोर्ट अनुसार ५औँ दोद्रुपछेन रिन्पोछे को पुनर्जन्म भएको बताइएको छ, जसले विश्वभरका अनुयायीहरूमा खुशी र नयाँ आध्यात्मिक आशा जगाएको छ।

नयाँ अवतारलाई ५औँ दोद्रुपछेन रिन्पोछे मानिएको छ, जसले भित्रको प्रतिष्ठित दोद्रुपछेन वंशलाई निरन्तरता दिने विश्वास गरिएको छ। यो वंश गहिरो र शिक्षासँग नजिकबाट सम्बन्धित छ।

आदरणीय गुरु को सन् २०२२ मा मा ९७ वर्षको उमेरमा निधन भएको थियो। उहाँको निधनपछि विभिन्न गुम्बा तथा भक्तजनहरूले उहाँको शीघ्र पुनर्जन्मका लागि प्रार्थना गरेका थिए।

अनुयायीहरूका अनुसार नवजात अवतारले उही ज्ञानमय चेतनाको निरन्तरता बोकेको विश्वास गरिएको छ, जसले करुणा, ज्ञान र धर्म शिक्षाको संरक्षण गर्ने शताब्दी पुरानो परम्परालाई अगाडि बढाउनेछ।

विश्वभरका भक्तजनहरूले सानो रिन्पोछेको स्वास्थ्य, दीर्घायु र भविष्यमा धर्ममार्गमा मार्गदर्शन गर्ने भूमिकाका लागि शुभकामना तथा प्रार्थना व्यक्त गरेका छन्।

Sherpa, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, along with other government officials, OSDs, representatives of various associations, students, members of civil society, and friends from the media for their gracious presence and support.

Special thanks are extended to the Rangpo Nagar Panchayat, led by Shri Sanjeev Khati, for their invaluable support in successfully organizing the programme.

DSA also expresses sincere appreciation to the Siliguri Sherpa Kyidug, Salugara, for their warm cooperation and hospitality during Anniela Sherpa’s arrival at Bagdogra.

The Association further acknowledges the support of the Protocol Division of the Home Department, Government of Sikkim, the staff and officials of the Tourist Guest House, Rangpo, and the police personnel for their assistance and coordination. Heartfelt thanks are also due to the Sili Dance Group and the dedicated reception team led by Mrs. Nim Lhamu Sherpa and Dr. Ugen Lobsang for their wonderful efforts in making the reception programme a grand success.
