We are happy to welcome Mr. Aditya Nair to the AMPRG team at IIT Gandhinagar as an M.Tech student. He completed his B.Tech. in Fibres and Textile Processing Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (UDCT) Mumbai in 2025.

At AMPRG, Aditya’s research will focus on the physics-informed neural network (PINN) modelling of the Friction Stir Welding (FSW) process.

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Sri Anurag Das to the AMPRG team at IIT Gandhinagar as an M.Tech student. Anurag joined us after completing his B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at NIT Trichy in 2025.

His previous academic work involves applying object detection models for microstructural analysis, exploring powder metallurgy, and simulating thermal cycles for Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) using ANSYS.

Currently, his research at AMPRG will focus on the numerical simulation of the Solid Stir Extrusion process.
