From “I don’t know design” ➜ “I built an app” in 5 days 💥

Many Computer Science & Design students today want to step into UI/UX design rather than traditional coding roles. Understanding this shift, K.S.R. College of Engineering organized a 5-day intensive UI/UX workshop to give students real, industry-ready design exposure — and I had the privilege to lead it.

Over 5 days, 32 students learned how to think like designers, not just use tools.

They worked on:
✔ Competitive Analysis
✔ User Personas
✔ Problem Statements
✔ Crazy 8 Ideation
✔ Wireframing
✔ Color Psychology
✔ Typography Hierarchy
✔ Icon Usage

🎯 Outcome: Every student designed a complete Android app and built a structured UX case study, later publishing their work on Behance.

Seeing students confidently present their ideas was the biggest reward.
