Leaders from the developing world should realise the importance and urgency of the issue at their hands and their strong view on this issue will impress upon people of their region and influence on the activities of the people of developed world.

What should be our part in the process? Adhere to the advice of Mr.Tony Bosworth. Go for energy efficient products.Prefer LED lighting instead of CFL. Buy 5 star rated electrical and electronic goods. Do not hesitate to pay more for energy efficient products. You will get many times back as energy saving. Install Solar or Wind generator to cover your lighter load needs ( like fan,Lights,TV and PC).Install Solar thermal heaters wherever possible. In 6 to 7 years it is giving back your investment.Rest of the period of up to 17 to 18 years, it will provide free energy. Make every one aware of this facts as much as possible. Practicing and spreading this message is itself is a great contribution to your society. GO GREEN ! CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY !!

Even though most of the public in developed world are literate, they remain indifferent due to mean and reckless attitude towards this issue. They continue to consume more energy and in turn emit more heat in to the atmosphere.Their carbon foot print continue to remain bigger as compared to developing countries. The reduction in price of shale gas products to one fourth with the help of recently perfected technology, will only boost up the energy utilisation.

The drastic raise in global green house gas emission continue to raise climate to higher temperature. This will take the world to dangerous situation. Emission must peak by 2020 to avoid a further two degrees of warming, beyond which the effects of climate change becomes catastrophic and irreversible.

In nearly 20 years time, share of global energy is predicted as 27% for shale gas and similar share for coal & oil. The remaining will be from low-carbon sector like nuclear, hydro, wind and solar. So,it is every ones responsibility to increase the share of low-carbon energy sector. ( concludes in next)

TIP OF THE DAY: LED Home Lightings

Don’t let the sticker price shock you...
The initial cost of LED bulbs may be misleading to consumers unfamiliar with the new LED bulbs. While the initial cost of the LED bulb is higher than the cost of an incandescent or CFL bulb, the savings is recouped over time because the bulb will last longer and use less energy than other bulbs. You will see the savings in your electric bill.

Benefits Of Solar Energy...
It’s free:
Solar-energy systems allow you to capture free sunlight and convert it into usable power in your home.
It’s clean:
Solar energy can be used to heat and cool your home, but it has almost no impact on the global climate. By comparison, electricity generated by power plants produces carbon dioxide emissions that scientists say pose serious threats to the environment.
It’s infinitely renewable:
While nonrenewable energy sources like oil, gas and coal are becoming increasingly scarce, the sun’s energy is limitless. Wherever sunlight shines, electricity can be generated.
It can reduce your utility costs:
Having a system that creates solar energy means you use less electricity from your utility company, and that can contribute to lower heating and cooling costs.
It comes with incentives:
In India government and some states provide tax credits for renewable-energy systems. Depending on where you live, you may also be eligible for incentives through your utility company.
It increases your energy self-reliance:
The more sunlight harnessed by the system, the less electricity you need from your utility supplier.
It’s extremely reliable:
The sun has been around for billions of years and is likely to burn on for billions more to come. And when you consider how a trusted name like Lennox is putting it to economical use in the home, it’s easy to see solar energy’s future is bright.
