Finally Guwahati getting smart, installing Integrated Traffic Management System

Altogether 72 landslides took place across the 18 hills of Guwahati from June 14 to Saturday owing to incessant rainfall during that period and as many as 266 families residing in locations vulnerable to mudslips have been asked by the Kamrup (Metro) district administration to shift to safer places immediately.

In view of the prediction by IMD of incessant rains in Kamrup Metropolitan district tomorrow, all educational institutions (Govt. & Private both) to be closed down for tomorrow(16.6.2022) with exception of conduct of examinations which have been already scheduled.
