Happy New Year

We are proud to mark another milestone in the LAEKITCHEN Journey at the ongoing annual Bharat Parv Celebration at the Red Fort and the grand success it was🙌
Representing Manipur has always been a matter of pride.
Through our food stall, we served the various dishes of the Manipuri Cuisine,
with utmost hygiene, delicacy and most importantly, care.
Cuisines from the Northeast must be explored and to fulfill that, a food demonstration on how to make spicy Manipuri side dish, Singju 🍽️
On the 27th of January, our founder, Jeena Sorokhaibam demonstrated a food demo in collaboration with the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, Pusa New Delhi.
Using
•Lotus stem (Thambou in Meitei)

• Stink Bean (Yongchaak)

• Cabbage (Kobiful)

• Cauliflower (Kobi-Lei)

• Hawai Debi or Tebi

• Hawai Maton

• Unripe Papaya (Awaa Thabi)

• Banana Flower (Laphu Tharo)

• Rice Bean (Chakhawai)

and many additional ingredients, the delicious dish was made in front of an audience.
