MUST READ ALL DTU STUDENTS!
Earlier we had an Option of Removing 3 Subjects (1A,1C,1H, with or without back) , but recently this Provision has been discarded We cannot remove any subject for calculating the Aggregate % for Placements.
Even our degree requires us to score 228/240 credits to get the Degree, then why this provision has been removed?

How many times have you remembered something 5 minutes just after the teacher said: "Stop writing"
Only to receive your results a month later to realize that you were only 1 mark short of the top grade?
Does that mean remembering 5 minutes earlier would've made you more qualified for a particular job?
Well, on an application form in DTU Placements it would have!

It was Earlier Good in case a students who didn't scored well in few subjects or have back may be because they didn't like that subject or they didn't found it Interesting. In these cases these provision was useful, but now It's quite demotivating to see such rules being implemented in such a prestigious Institution, where Students don't have the freedom to study subjects of their own Interest.

FINAL NOTE: This Provision can decide the fate of a lot of Students, they may not be allowed to sit in Placements, even If they run short of 1% in the Company's cuttoff (due to couple of marks he/she didn't scored in some subjects!), Hence IT'S OBSOLETE FOR SUCH A PRESTIGIOUS INSTITUTION.
WE NEED TO COME OUT & PROTEST/(or Give an Application to the Concerned Authorities) to GET THIS PROVISION BACK.

In Response to the new DCE MechC (v2.0), which has destroyed the quality of our Renowed MechC, through it's:
1.Poor Quality Food
2.Increased Rates
3.Ready Made stale food
Let us TRY to Scrap the New MechC & Bring the OLD GOOD MechC (v1.0).

(Even the Tender issued by DTU for MechC doesn't have such high rates for food offered.)
