Department of Resource Management and Design Applications is introducing a short term course in interior design.This course offers an opportunity for the students to develop an understanding of design relating to residential spaces with technical skills and aesthetics applied in the realm of form and function.
The learners/students will be equipped to make material boards ,structured visual elements with the help of hand drafting as well as AutoCAD, visual impact of colours in spatial relationships, furniture sketches, colour rendering and important data on construction with the help of practical exposure through site visits along with classroom sessions. We will also be introducing the students with the concept of biophillic design.
Anyone with an eye for good aesthetics and a passion for beautiful spaces would benefit from this course.
