What a day on the Chambal. We ended the safari with this massive male Gharial basking meters away from us. Another great season coming to a close. So grateful to all my guests for taking the time out to explore

On our recent tour to Kaziranga our group was extremely fortunate to see one of the most exhilarating wildlife encounters.
Two bull elephants in musth going all out, battle mode right in front of our vehicles. We don’t know for how long they’ve been sizing each other up but they eventually decided that enough is enough and went all in. Although the smaller (probably younger) elephant had massive tusks that did not help as he did get pushed and thrown around by the bigger but tuskless male.
An interesting fact, while they were jousting, not a yelp, scream or trumpet from both the giants. Pin drop silence as if nothing was going on.
This one will be etched in our memories for a very very very long time. Thank you Kaziranga!

A few reasons why summer is my favourite time of the year to be on safari. Dry, hot, sweaty, dusty but all those thoughts and feelings disappear the moment you see the King of the Jungle.
Book your safari holiday this summer before Parks close for the monsoon season. Call 9717148483 for inquiries.
