Mobility aids are not a luxury but a necessity for persons with disabilities but unfortunately due to multi factorial reasons only 1 on 10 people in India has access to such aids. Aids such as tricycles not only mobilise persons with disabilities but also empower them to earn a livelihood which goes a long way in improving the quality of life

A few days back , a tricycle was handed over to a resident of West Bengal named Paresh Sarkar. He is disabled with both legs . He was badly in need of a mobility aid as he needs to travel for personal and family work. Hopefully, this tricycle will help him in making his life a lot easier .

Dear friends, Mr. Thakuramoni Das, a resident of Assam, who was referred to us by Robinhood Army, Silchar. Mr. Das suffers from a permanent disability and his existing wheelchair had become dysfunctional, severely hindering his daily activities.

Following a thorough evaluation of his condition, we were able to provide him with a new wheelchair, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. We extend our sincere gratitude to the volunteers at Robinhood Army, Silchar, for their unwavering support 🙏🏻🤎
