Why we treat comparison as negative concept. Are we don't know how to do it in healthy way or we live in a delusional spectrum where we don't know the both sides of the coin. If we know the healthy and optimum process of doing comparison, we can move a very ahead from where are we today.
Comparison is an imperative part of our life and not knowing how to do it well make our pace more ineffective and time consuming. In my brief contemplation I got to know that comparison is two side process which help us upgrade ourselves from generalized population but what we are lacking is not knowing the well established process of doing comparison. If someone ask you why we do comparison your generalized answer will be to get a best in array (range) of items like we do in smartphone when buying online but is it just limited to buying object or we can add this process in our life.
What I think of comparison is, it is two type process.
1. Positive comparison: In which we compare ourselves to another individual on the basis of our skills, knowledge, talents, body type etc and try to adapt or change the things we require to upgrade in our individuality by putting an effort and not merely wishing which is very important part of positive comparison.
On the other hand....
2. Negative comparison: All the part is same but one thing which creates huge difference is, in this we merely wishing to change but not putting any possible effort to change our individuality and by wishing and not doing we creating a havoc of negative emotions (which I call pure regrets that's create anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health disorder).
So to break the negative aspect of comparison, we have to put graduale effort in our process of comparison for stopping us to fall in pit of negative comparison.
