Here’s the process for wall paneling.
1. Start with quality materials: Use 18mm MDF/HDF of reputable brands like GreenPly/ActionTesa for laser cutting.
2. Precision cutting is key: Choose a reliable laser cutting workshop to ensure smooth finishes for that luxury look.
3. Ensure consistency: Stick to using 18mm MDF/HDF of the same brand for laser cutting to maintain quality.
4. Bring your design to life: Have your desired design laser cut and transported to the site.
5. Protect the Panelling: Apply a waterproof backing plastic sheet to act as a barrier against dampness and termites. (Optionally, for added sturdiness and longevity, you can layer a 6mm ply after the plastic backing and then fix the 18mm laser-cut sheet.)
This additional step ensures enhanced durability and longevity for your luxury wall paneling, providing a sturdy foundation for years to come.
6. Secure the paneling: Have your carpenter fix the panels using headless and hidden nails, along with Fevicol SH adhesive on the wall.
7. Prepare the surface: Prior to painting, sand the surface to smoothness, fill any cracks/holes, or level uneven surfaces. Repeat this process at least three times for optimal results.
8. Paint for perfection: Coat the prepared surface with Sirca PU/Ica PU Matt, applying at least 3-4 coats for the desired luxurious finish.
9. Ready for luxury: Follow these steps for impeccable wall paneling. If you found this guide helpful, comment “LASER” and we’ll send you the file for the same laser cutting design and more.
Let’s make your walls radiate luxury! ✨
