Every shade we choose carries a feeling, a memory, a mood. And every project becomes a reflection of the world we observe so closely.

The first month of FY 2026–27 has already wrapped, and somehow, we’re right back in the rhythm of it all.

Sites buzzing, drawings evolving, materials being locked, shoots being planned, and homes quietly inching closer to completion. Some projects are stepping into their final form, some are still in the thick of decisions, and some are just beginning to find their voice.

This phase always feels like a bridge, between what was envisioned and what is about to be lived in. And in the middle of all the moving parts, we’re doing what we always do: showing up for every detail, delay, pivot, and possibility.

Because what we don’t do is treat this like just another project. What we do is stay invested until your space feels exactly like it was meant to.

What makes a home Indian today?
It’s a question we find ourselves returning to, not for answers, but for feeling.

Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to design homes that don’t just follow a trend, but tell the story of those who live within them.

At Ghar-e-Nazm, we softened the edges of a bustling city home to allow poetry, literally and figuratively, settle into its corners. In The Bengali Connect was designed around nostalgia. Of addas and alpona, early-morning Bengali markets and slow lunches, mahogany chests and framed sepia-toned memories. We didn't just recreate tradition, we gave it new breath. In Samsāre, we were invited to craft a space that honoured the cyclical nature of life, where the rhythm of ritual, memory and family were celebrated through restrained form and natural materials.

These homes are not "Indian" because they include brass lamps or carved jalis. They’re Indian because they understand time, emotion, chaos, intimacy. And that's what we strive to create at The Concreate Story, homes that are culturally rooted, emotionally resonant, and uniquely personal.
