|| 1.5 || Not only Satyaki, Virata and Drupada but there are more powerful warriors named: Dhristaketu, proper names of various warriors. Dhristaketu is one name; Cekitanaḥ is another name; Kasirajah, is the king of Kasi, and viryavan is not a name, but it is an adjective to Kasi rajah; viryavan Kasirajah, the most powrful king of Kasi. Then Purujit is another name, Kuntibhojaḥ, another name, kunti's father is called kuntibhojah, then Shaibhya, another name; all these are great warriors and narapungavah, is an adjective of Shaibhya, it is not another name, difficult to find out which is noun and which is verb. narapungavah, the greatest among men, i.e Shaibya. All these people, belong to Pandavas' army. And as even Duryodhana is enumerating, his fear is increasing.

|| 1.3 || द्रुपद के पुत्र धृष्टद्युम्न ने सेना की व्यवस्था की थी। उनका जन्म केवल द्रोण को मारने के उद्देश्य से हुआ था, जो उनके शिक्षक भी थे। जिस प्रकार बिच्छू उसे डंक मारेगा जिसकी रक्षा भय से मुक्त होने के लिए की गई है, उसी प्रकार दुष्ट दुर्योधन ने अपने गुरु का अपमान किया। उनका सरल शब्दों में अर्थ यह है: "इस प्रकार द्रुपद के पुत्र और पांडु के पुत्रों को लड़ाई के विज्ञान को पढ़ाने में अपनी मूर्खता के बारे में सोचो। वे तुम्हें मारने के लिए तैयार हैं! " फिर वह पांडु सेना के शक्तिशाली योद्धाओं की सूची देता है।

इस प्रकार पांडव सेना की रूपरेखा की ओर इशारा करते हुए, दुर्योधन अब तीन श्लोकों में पांडव पक्ष के प्रमुख योद्धाओं के नामों का उल्लेख करता है: तो यहां हमने दुर्योधन उवाच की आपूर्ति की है। यह कहा नहीं जाता है, लेकिन यह समझा जाता है क्योंकि ये दुर्योधन के शब्द हैं। तो हे आचार्य, आप पांडवों की इस विशाल सेना को देखें।
