Neighbourhood parties are the best ones 💛

Last night at Parijaat Homestay was extra special – our next–door neighbours, a bunch of hospitality pros, took over the house for a private celebration.
From chopping boards and checklists to candles, cushions and clinking glasses… we prepped every corner like we were hosting family.

There’s a different kind of joy in curating an evening for people who live and breathe hospitality themselves – and watching them unwind in our home. ✨

From your very own “gypsy” chef, Samta! I pick up recipes wherever I travel—temple kitchens, bazaar carts, hillside homes—and then I play with them until they feel like me. Maybe the jakhya crackles a little longer, maybe a bright squeeze of Himalayan lemon lifts a classic. It all stays seasonal, and simple; the joy is in tiny experiments and a whole lot of love.
