Update on scooter our permanent special needs member started chewing one of his hind leg (quite common with paralysed cases) in march, we had to put him on anxiety and other medications but since he didn't stop self mutilating we went for a surgery after which he showed good sign of recovery but a few weeks later by may end he started doing it again.

As he was not ready for another surgery so soon we had to wait for some time but things were getting worse and we scheduled a second emergency surgery which went well and even after securing the wounds and putting double collars he was able to open the stitches and injure himself the third time.

Dr. Uniyal asked us to admit him to to change and administer his medicines and dosage more closely, after a week we got him back and finally by God's grace he has stopped hurting himself and his wounds are now healing.

It would be so much easier if they were this disciplined while getting their meals 😅🧿
