to help young minds understand the value of a single drop of water

At Nurture Nature Camp 2026, 94 students from 19 schools came together, not just to learn, but to connect with nature, with stories, and with responsibility.

From the story of the Noyyal River to thought-provoking sessions on water conservation, Day 1 was a reminder that change begins with awareness.

And perhaps, the future of our planet looks a little brighter today

On 24th March 2026, Mr. Sumeet Banga, President & CEO, J S Auto Cast Foundry India Pvt. Ltd., along with Dr. Leena Deshpande, Head CSR, Bharat Forge Limited, visited Periyamman Kovil Vanam to witness the growing plantation.

Joined by Siruthuli’s leadership and team, the visit reflected the shared commitment behind 10,000 native saplings, a step towards richer biodiversity and a stronger green cover.

In just a year, this space won’t just be greener, it will be alive.

Policy matters. Infrastructure matters.

But citizen behaviour matters too.

Water security begins with awareness and becomes real through action.

The future of the Noyyal depends on all of us.

Water resilience is built on the ground.

Through lake rejuvenation, catchment strengthening, desilting, native plantation and community engagement, we work to restore natural storage systems.

But restoration must go hand in hand with prevention.

Water security cannot be outsourced.
