6 triathletes from TriFitZone , including me, sucessfully completed the prestigious Ironman title in Kazakhstan.

1) Ram Gomare 11hours 50 min 49 sec 2) Vaibhav Thombare 14houes 34 min 47 3) Sachin Wakadkar 13hors 53 min 57 sec 4) Amit Londhe 13 hours 54 min 14 sec 5) Rohit Kshirsagar13 hours 54 min 10 sec 6) Pandurang Bodke 13 hours 59 min 19 sec from the group TriFitZone, Pimpri Chinchwad, participated in the Ironman race held at Nur Sultan, the capital city of Kazakhstan on 14th August 2022.
It was a task to complete the grueling journey- swimming 3.8 km in the chilly waters of the Ishim river, cycling 180 km with head and cross winds and running 42.2 km in both hot and cold temperatures with a total cut-off time of 16 hours 30 minutes. This is a journey of one's own battle with self-restraint. During this non-stop race of 16-17 hours one cannot predict how the body will perform. Congratulations to these triathletes!

It was very satisfying to see the progress of these highly motivated athletes as they joined the group during the 2nd lockdown with no background of swimming. This distance from 25 m to now 3.8 km was possible with regular drills and practice.
