His singing reflects a deep understanding of the art - rendered with precise nuances, rich depth, vibrant energy, and a sensitivity to the subtleties of classical music. Dr. Hemalatha, a violinist of rare grace and refinement, brings to the stage a quiet intensity and profound musical empathy. A Doctorate in Music, she is presently the Head of the Department of Indian Music, University of Madras. With Vidwan Arun Prakash’s insightful accompaniment on the mridangam, the concert is elevated into a richer and more immersive musical experience. Adding to the ensemble, Sumukh Karanth, a talented kanjira artist from Karnataka, brings youthful brilliance as the youngest performer on stage. At Naada Inbam, this concert is dedicated to our founder Shri S V Krishnan. I am sure my father Shri S V Krishnan would be very happily enjoying this concert from his heavenly abode.
