Tumor Surgery made simple and easy-

A 28-year-old patient presented with a tumor involving the left half of his lower jaw to Dr. Shubhra Chauhan in Rajan Dental Hospital. He was advised for removing half of his jaw followed by reconstructing it with bone taken from the leg(fibula). This procedure is a technique-sensitive, time-consuming and invasive procedure. Also using traditional plates was not possible as the tumor was large and no bone to support it. In order to overcome all these drawbacks, Dr. Shubra approached Zoriox Innovation Labs for 3D-printed ( ) for the surgery. These surgical guides help the surgeon to accurately perform the bone cuts and thereby saving time and minimally invasive. The surgical guide was planned, designed and 3D printed based on her requirements. She was impressed by the ease, adaptability, and precision of these guides during surgery which is of great use in mandibular reconstruction.
