Moderated by Anshuman Arora, the entrepreneurship discussion explored how entrepreneurship is far more than starting a business - it is fundamentally a mindset. The conversation highlighted that successful entrepreneurs are driven by curiosity, continuous learning, initiative, vision, collaboration, and the ability to see opportunities others often miss. The discussion also touched upon the importance of market fit, resource management, value creation, innovation & the ability to sustainably convert ideas into revenue, whether in product-based or service-based businesses.
Responding to a question on the qualities commonly seen in successful entrepreneurs, Sunil Jain highlighted three key traits: the ability to foresee the future, resilience during failures and setbacks, and the courage to embrace uncertainty before opportunities become obvious to everyone else. He reflected on his own entrepreneurial journey, sharing how he transitioned from a long-standing manufacturing business to building a digital agency through adaptability, practical experience, and continuous improvisation.
On whether entrepreneurial qualities are innate or can be acquired, Vikram R Singh emphasised the importance of lifelong learning, ownership, and personal growth, remarking that a person’s future is often shaped by the books they read & the experiences they absorb. The discussion further explored what truly defines entrepreneurial success - not just profitability or scale, but the larger social impact created and the number of people empowered along the journey.
Vikram R Singh also stressed that organisations can nurture entrepreneurship internally when individuals are encouraged to take ownership of outcomes and think independently. Supporting this thought, Sunil Jain shared example of an employee from his own organisation who honed her skills over the years and eventually went on to build successful venture of her own in Bangalore. Addressing concerns around AI replacing traditional work, Sunil Jain observed that technology should be viewed as an enabler that improves efficiency & creates new opportunities rather than merely a disruption.

The keynote session on sustainability by Mr. Jatinder Jay Cheema offered a thoughtful reflection on how true sustainability once existed naturally in our everyday lives, long before it became a modern buzzword. 🌿✨
The discussion focused on reviving the simple yet meaningful practices followed by our grandparents’ generation - a lifestyle deeply connected with nature and balance. From the use of clay pots to brass and bronze utensils, every aspect of daily living carried health and environmental benefits. These traditional utensils were not only sustainable but also enriched food with essential minerals, contributing to healthier lifestyles.
The session also highlighted how earlier generations lived more actively, often walking miles for work and relying on seasonal foods rather than imported products. This ensured that people consumed fresh produce rich in natural vitamins and minerals while also reducing unnecessary consumption and environmental strain. As a result, both human health and nature remained in harmony.
Mr. Cheema emphasized that sustainability does not require an overnight transformation. Instead, meaningful change begins with small conscious steps - slowly bringing back mindful habits that reconnect us with nature. The session served as a reminder that healing the planet may begin by relearning the wisdom of the past and adapting it thoughtfully into modern life.
