Empowering young minds with knowledge is one of the most powerful steps toward prevention and protection. The Centre for Child Rights (CFCR), Chandigarh organized a meaningful visit to Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-16, Chandigarh regarding the ‘Awareness on Sexual Abuse’ where students of Classes 8 and 9 participated in an interactive awareness session on sexual abuse and child safety. The session focused on helping young students understand the concept of safe and unsafe touch, recognizing warning signs, and encouraging them to speak up without fear.

Through open conversations, real-life examples, and engaging discussions, the aim was to create a safe space where students could learn about their rights, personal boundaries, and the importance of seeking help when needed.Educating children today helps build a safer and more informed society tomorrow.
