*Job Description: Azure Platform Specialist*

*Overview:*
Advent Technology is seeking a skilled Azure Platform Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Azure services, with expertise in Office 365 (O365), Active Directory (AD) services, and security products. This role involves safeguarding both on-premise and cloud setups, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining robust security measures.
*Responsibilities:*
1. *Azure Platform Management:* Manage and maintain Azure services, including but not limited to Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
2. *Office 365 Expertise:* Demonstrate proficiency in Office 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
3. *Active Directory Administration:* Oversee the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of on-premise and Azure Active Directory services.
4. *Security Implementation:* Implement security measures to safeguard both on-premise and cloud environments, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and data encryption.
5. *Monitoring and Optimization:* Continuously monitor Azure resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and scalability.
6. *Troubleshooting and Support:* Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Azure-related issues, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
7. *Documentation and Training:* Document configurations, procedures, and best practices. Conduct training sessions to educate team members on Azure platform usage and security protocols.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Platform Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, architecture, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of Office 365 suite and its integration with Azure.
- Expertise in Active Directory services, including on-premise and Azure AD.
- Familiarity with security products and protocols, such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus.
