Sub Divisional Legal Service Committee-SDLSC, Bongaon

Inaugurated one "Legal Aid Help Desk” at the Mulaqati Area of Bongaon Sub-correctional home under the “Mulaqat Campaign” on 14.05.2026, as per direction of the NALSA. Sri Rajib Saha, Ld. ADJ 1st Court, Bongaon cm Chairman Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Bongaon, inaugurated the “Legal Aid Help Desk”. The initiative has been organised by DLSA, Dlsa North Twenty-four Parganas under the “Mulaqat Campaign”, under the aegis of NALSA and WBSLSA, with the objective of ensuring access to justice for inmates and their families during prison visits. The Legal Aid Help Desk aims to provide real-time legal assistance, guidance, and support to undertrial prisoners and their relatives, thereby strengthening the outreach of legal services within correctional institutions.
