What is the HTML element's "alt" attribute?
-> It describes an image. Suppose we are explaining an image to a person who can't see an image. What we explain to that person is what an alt attribute is. It contains that explanation string. Practically, it has 3 uses.
1. Screen Readers: When screen readers are reading a page, when it comes to the element, it speaks "Image, ". Here, one point that can be considered is that, when screen readers reading alt text, it already speaks the word "Image" or "Graphics", so we should omit alt text that starts with "image of" or "graphics of", as screen readers already speak it.
2. Search Engine: The search engine reads alt text to understand what the image is for. Traditionally, search engines can't read images, so they read the alt text instead. However, now in the AI era, if a search engine starts using image reading, then it is another thing.
3. Fallback Content: When a browser can't load the image, it shows the img's alt text instead.
"alt" can be skipped
If you don't want 'alt' to be considered, you can pass an empty string "" to the alt attribute, for example

For instance, if you have an additional image on top of the main image that partially obscures part of the main image (such as to hide contact info), in such cases you may want the 'alt' text of the additional image not to be considered. In that case, you can pass an empty string "" to the alt attribute.

How to speed?
1) Non-Technical
i) Remove unnecessary things
- Extensions that you don't need and are there on your website remove them after taking a backup. Each extension adds overhead to Magento's performance.
- If you only want some part of the extension and not all, try to find an extension that fulfills your requirement and does not have more functionality, as a result, there will not be overburden on your website. Don't ask the extension provider to remove functionality from their plugin, they may hide and not fully remove functionality from the plugin in a proper way and overburden may not be removed (I use the word "may" not "will"). Try to find another fresh extension according to your requirements.
- Remove themes you don't want after getting a backup.
ii) Purchase extensions from the Magento/Adobe Commerce marketplace which ensures the quality standard of the extension even from the coding point of view also.
2) Technical
- Add your website link on a page speed monitor websites like https://pagespeed.web.dev/, https://gtmetrix.com/, and https://tools.pingdom.com/ they give you suggestions to improve site speed. Please note not every suggestion is feasible to implement. Many things are mandatory to make the site work properly.
