SEEKING PUBLIC OPINION ON STARTUP EVENT

Just again, a squirrel’s attempt to build a platform for the Startup Community – both for Existing and Emerging startups. The problem we have identified with these communities is that they don’t OPEN UP or Expose due to shy or lack of self confidence or over intelligence may be say 101 reasons but it leaves everybody painstaking that WE HAVE NOT GOT EVEN ONE PROMISING/ SUCCESSFUL STARTUP FROM VIZAG with 45 Lakhs population.

Many anxious eyes were awaiting to see vizag as PRIMARY IT HUB post division of Andhra Pradesh.

It’s a tiny little attempt to know & address the big “ WHY “!!

Farista, as an emerging local Startup Incubator & Accelerator presents you with a debut, big stage Startup Program named as “ STARTUP BELLS 2016 ”.
Now the MOTTO behind this program is :
1. TO IDENTIFY EXISTING STARTUPs
2. TO IDENTIFY WHAT ARE THE NEEDS OF EXISTING STARTUPS.
3. TO KNOW THEIR PAIN POINTS or WHERE THEY WERE LITERALLY STRUCK.
4. TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL HUMAN RESOURCES FOR EXISTING STARTUPS.
5. TO IDENTIFY EXISTING EMPLOYMENT NEEDS IN STARTUPS.
6. TO CREATE INTERNSHIPS.
7. TO GUIDE FRESHERS & JOB SEEKERS.
8. TO IDENTIFY WHO WERE ABOUT TO LAUNCH THEIR STARTUP VENTURES SOON.
9. TO ESTABLISH AN ASSOCIATION FOR THE STARTUP COMMUNITY.

Sounds GOOD?? Yep, we are trying to design 2 DAYS FULL TIME EVENT at Andhra University soon.

Now the AGENDA is:

FIRST DAY:
9.30AM – 11.20AM : PITCHING SESSION FOR EXISTING STARTUPS
5 minutes quick intro, pitch and pitfalls being faced to large audience who would love to suggest or provide feedback through emails. This might help you in getting
leads, likes, downloads or any such promotion to large audience.

11.20AM- 11.30AM: TEA BREAK

11.30AM- 1.00 PM : STARTUP IDEAS PITCH SESSION FOR NEW ENTREPRENUERS
5 minutes pitch session where new startuprenuers can explore & validate their Ideas or concepts.

1PM- 2 PM : BREAK FOR LUNCH

2 PM-5.30 PM : INTERACTIVE Q & A SESSION WITH AUDIENCE.

Normally when you attend any such event, you remain as audience only where you do not have absolute freedom to talk. Here the stage is all yours!

FINAL DAY

9.30AM- 12.00 PM : EXPERIENCES & SUGGESTIONS FROM LEADING ENTREPRENUERS, INDUSTRIALISTS FROM VARIOUS SECTORS IN VIZAG.

12 PM-1 PM : FINAL EVALUATED PITCHES SEGGREGATED ON DAY 1 WOULD BE PITCHED INFRONT
OF DISTINGUISHED GUESTS & JUDGES.

1 PM- 2 PM : LUNCH BREAK

2 PM -2.30 PM : DECLARATION OF VISAKHAPATNAM STARTUP ASSOCIATION CHAPTER- VISTA

2.30PM- 4.30 PM : JOB INTERVIEWS BY STARTUPS

4.30 PM -5.00 PM : CLOSING CEREMONY ADDRESS
