Being a MedicalYoga therapist means you don’t just “teach poses.”You learn to hold space for people in pain.

My students are not just students. They become part of my family. They can call me anytime with doubts, cases, confusion, or questions. We discuss students, sequencing, modifications, pain patterns, emotional states, and practical solutions.

That is how a therapist grows.

Lenka came from the Czech Republic and lived with me for 2 months after her MedicalYoga teacher’s training — simply to practice, observe, assist, and understand how therapy actually works with real students.

Because honestly…what can truly happen in one month?

Yes, I can teach you:• techniques• anatomy and therapy principles• modifications• sequencing• the “why” behind every movement• how to assess students• how to work safely

But becoming a therapist happens only through PRACTICE.

No two therapy classes are ever the same.Every student needs different support, different sequencing, different awareness.

And as a yoga teacher, even if you never plan to become a therapist, students with medical conditions WILL come to your class.

We begin by creating space — through therapeutic traction, decompression, and lengthening techniques.
This helps the nervous system settle and the body feel safe.

Then we introduce gentle, intelligent strengthening —
so the body can start supporting itself without strain.

Only after this foundation is built, we move into flexibility and stretching —
where range of motion improves without pain or force.

Because true healing is not about forcing flexibility —
it’s about restoring ease, stability, and balance.

When the body feels safe,
sleep improves…
pain reduces…
and quality of life transforms. 🌿
