On the occasion of World Forest Day, let us remember that forests are the lifeline of our planet . They provide oxygen, regulate climate, conserve water, support biodiversity and offer shelter to countless species. 🌍💚

Forests play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance and combating climate change. They act as carbon sinks, reducing the harmful effects of global warming and ensuring a sustainable environment for all living beings. 🌱

However, rapid deforestation, urbanization and human activities are putting forests at risk. It is our duty to protect and restore these natural treasures before it is too late.

NSS volunteers remain committed to environmental conservation by organizing tree plantation drives, spreading awareness about the importance of forests, and encouraging eco-friendly practices in daily life.
