Basant Panchami was celebrated with great joy and devotion in our school .
The festival marks the arrival of spring and is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom and learning. Students and teachers wore yellow attire, adding colour and vibrancy to the celebration. The programme began with a Saraswati Vandana and prayers, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.A special assembly was organisedwhich explained the significance of the festival and encouraged students to value education and creativity. Students offered flowers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her blessings for knowledge and success.
The celebration helped students understand India’s rich cultural heritage and promoted values of learning, harmony, and respect. The Basant Panchami celebration was an enriching experience for everyone.
