Technical Skills • Experience working with Enterprise Data Management Markit EDM platform (Data Porter, Data Matcher, Constructors and Web UI Workflows).
• Proven experience in data modelling, database design, ETL principles and data quality management
• Sound database skills in T-SQL and SQL Server will be essential (although advanced experience in Oracle and PL/SQL can be transferable)
• Hands on experience and a good working knowledge of application performance tuning
• Good knowledge of Excel and XML
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
• Understanding of stakeholder analysis and management
• Good knowledge of project life-cycle and familiar with development methodologies and approaches, including both Waterfall and Agile.
• Familiar with Confluence and JIRA Domain Skills
• Good understanding of the data required to support functions within the investment process
• Broad understanding of asset management functions including Front, Middle and Back Office
• Strong Knowledge of the investment process and full trade life cycle
• An appreciation of Data Governance best practices in the financial services industry Beneficial Skills:
• Enterprise batch Scheduling tool-Autosys
• WebSphere Message Broker and Webshpere MQ
• UNIX and Batch scripting
• Assyst or equivalent Service Management software
