From the frames of Tanzeb Chikankari comes a story close to our hearts — one of trust, creativity, and conscious craftsmanship.
When reached out with an idea that sparkled with intention, we knew it was special. She didn’t want something new from scratch. Instead, she brought forth a beautiful plain saree from her own cupboard — a piece with its own soul, rich texture, and cherished memories.
Together, we reimagined it.
We listened carefully to her vision, chose the perfect blocks, and designed a heavy, breathtaking Chikankari pallu paired with graceful medium motifs flowing across the body. Every stitch was a labour of love. For over two months, our skilled artisans poured their heart into each delicate shadow work, floral jaal, and intricate motif — honouring the fabric, the hands, and the heritage of Lucknowi Chikankari.
No new silk was woven. No excess was created. Just pure upcycling, sustainability, and slow fashion at its most beautiful.
And oh, how it bloomed! ✨
