OMR & ICR Scanning

OMR Scanning:

OMR [Optical Mark Recognition] is normally carried out in all Pre-Examination and Post Examination processes for Educational Institutions, Recruitment Organizations, and Universities. OMR technology gives 99.98% accuracy with out human interference as the documents are scanned using OMR scanners and these scanners are specially manufactured to scan the shaded portion of any sheet designed using OMR specifications.

ICR Scanning:

ICR [Intelligent Character Recognition] is again carried out in all Pre-Examination work for Educational Institutions, Recruitment Organizations, etc. Here the process is 1st the document is scanned using normal document scanner and converted as an image file. This image file is extracted using ICR software for data extraction; here manual verification is done to ascertain the data extracted is perfect. This technology is again not fool proof as various levels of QC [Quality Check] is required.
