A trip to starry nights & glaciers suddenly welcomed to click a couple of shots of my favourite genre 'wildlife'. I was totally astonished to sight long-tailed mormot during my visit to Zanskar valley. I have missed clicking them during my last trip on our way to Pangong as photographing these species near Chang La was forbidden for their safety.

This was our first sighting during our voyage towards Zanskar valley and the next day onwards sighted plenty of them but extremely shy as they not been used to humans.

The routes we have picked this time are interior locations in the Zanskar valley and we didn't find much of tourists (hardly 15 for 5 days camping, includes bikers, motor bikers) and lots of local people.

It was wonderful exploring the inside Kashmir, valleys, glaciers and visiting villages during our voyage. Keep watching this space for more images from my recent trip.
