MASTER THE CUT: The cut shot is an extremely rewarding shot with an element of risk involved esp. when the batsman isn't accustomed with the pace & bounce of the wicket. So make sure to get your eye in & dispatch it through the vacant areas on the offside.
TOP TIP: To keep the ball down, pick your hands higher than the ball & contact the ball in-line with your eyes while extending your hands. The broad base provides stability and enables the batsman to throw a kitchen sink at anything marginally wide.
