Messy food styling can be done in varying degrees. You will notice a touch of haphazard..a sprinkle of ingredients..a casual styling to form a deeper connection between a photograph and the viewer, as we can all relate to a bit of mess while cooking.
This is a technique of making something look undone yet still beautiful in it's intention to be so.

I've always been a fan of dark and moody photography. No matter the on going trend but this can never go wrong.

For this you just need one light source. You can use either natural or artificial light..here i am using a speed light.

I just love the mysterious result it gives out making the food look even more tempting.

This was a collaboration with ,an amazing place to hang out with your friends and family and ofcourse great food too.

What an amazing effect can a single light create on the subject!!
My love for experimenting with light and shadow continue.
