Light is your friend—literally. Here are some tips to help you create more natural light in your dark room.
👉🏻 1. Paint Colour: Apply White or any Lighter, Brighter Interior Wall Paint and Ceiling Paint which reflects the natural light. Can also use pastel colours.
👉🏻 2. Use Mirrors: Light in the room can be enhanced using mirrors in the room. Strategically placing the mirrors can do wonders in brightening up the space.
👉🏻 3. Opt for White Curtains: White Curtains reflect light and hence are the best choice. When they are hung higher than the windows, they create an illusion of a taller and a wider window.
👉🏻 4. Installing Skylights: Also known as the Windows for the roof, they bring more light than the other windows since they are less likely to be shadowed by outdoor objects.
👉🏻 5. Placing the furniture: If you cannot add more windows to a space, better to play with the light you do have instead. Strategically placing the furniture of the room towards the light so that the light reflected fills the room and makes the room brighter.
