A compact Fashion Boutique designed for a Fashion designer client.

This project involved a very simple brief of a compact cabin for the Designer and a workspace for the tailors. Since space was a constraint, the partition was multi functional with storage on both sides and a display too. The arches and colour palette of the studio added to the femininity of the space.

The concept of this Puja Room is based on Hoysala Temple Architecture with hand carved grey granite Elephants at the base of the side walls, leading to the marble counter. The inner main wall is clad with hard carved stone petals inspired by the temples of Hampi, while the floor and remaining walls are clad in white marble.

The wooden ceiling is a continuity from foyer, drawing your eyes towards this beautifully carved teak wood lotus, yet again an inspiration from the Hampi temple stone ceilings.

The material palette of this Puja room is kept simple yet sophisticated, giving it a very clean look.

This minimalistic material palette of white marble, grey granite, teak wood adds different textures and colours to the space in a very balanced way, with accents of brass inlays in the floor giving it a traditional touch and yet not over powering each other.
