outbreak has affected alot of things over the year, especially maintaining social distance have been key factor to get less affected from it and reduce its spreading intensity.
As we know, is one of the largest social event which happens in , Mumbai in which lakhs of people from all over the country visit the place to pay tribute to Dr. . In the current situation it is not really advisable for people to travel in groups and pay visit to Chaityabhoomi on 5-6th December in big groups. Hence as an alternative for this year, we can take up other local activities which will be productive as well as pay tribute to Babasaheb adhering to all the norms. This could include online programs, sessions, donations etc.
Also in addition to it, we can pay tribute without going by having initiative in which you can send your message in form of postal letter to Chaityabhoomi address as mentioned in the photo which will act as a virtual tribute to Babasaheb. This can serve as a message to everyone that inspite of not visiting Chaityabhoomi physically this year still we tried to pay the tribute virtually and have not missed the legacy post Mahaparinirvana.
So I urge all of you to write small Letter to Babasaheb and send it over to Chaityabhoomi Memorial, Dadar, Mumbai- 400028. We have given notifications to Chaityabhoomi Committee as well as Dadar Post Office for this initiative. Also post the letter on social media with the hashtag.
