Project SparkL
🌟Annual Day celebration 🌟
At Project SparkL, we recently celebrated our Annual Day — a special moment to pause, appreciate, and look ahead.
We felicitated our incredible Skills Educators and recognized their dedication with awards, celebrating the impact they create every day. The day was filled with meaningful conversations, shared reflections, and a few snacks along the way.
Most importantly, it gave us the chance to look back on our journey so far and thoughtfully plan the year ahead.
Grateful for the people who make this work meaningful. Here’s to another year of learning, growth, and impact. ✨

projectsparkl We are deeply grateful to our partners, Rotary
Club Singapore and Rotary Club Bengaluru Midtown, for their
meaningful and thoughtful partnership with Project SparkL
Their generous support means a lot to us
Recently, a team of Rotarians, including President Rtn. Mr.
Rajesh P. Shah, Rtn. Sanjeev Shah(RCS), Past President Rtn
Mr. Atul Kaushal, President Elect Rtn. Mr. Jagdish Bajaj, District
Governor Rtn. Mr. Sridhar B.R., Rtn Shafiq Ahmed- Co-Director
Community Services
Rtn Shamsundar Talreja- Director International Services along
with other dedicated members, visited our Project SparkL
Centres. We were also honoured to have President Rtn. Mrs.
Sonali Sinha join us online from Singapore to gain deeper
insight into our mission, vision, and long-term strategy
They engaged with us, witnessed our classrooms in action,
and met with our Trustees, Skills Educators, shelter home
teams, and the children we serve. We are delighted that the
Rotary partners have committed to sponsoring two Project
SparkL Centres for three years. This is a powerful vote of
confidence in our work and its long-term potential.
This kind of thoughtful, engaged support is invaluable to us
Ne believe that partnerships like this can have a lasting
positive impact. Thank you for joining us on this journey and
for your unwavering support!

🌟 Learning Spotlight: Discovering Shapes at Project SparkL🌟
Excitement in Math class as our children explored the world of shapes — circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, and more!
Even with limited resources, we focused on hands-on learning using simple materials to make the lesson engaging.
✨ Children spotted and drew shapes on paper
✨ They learnt the names of each shape
✨ They traced outlines and cut out shapes
✨ They sorted shapes into groups
✨ And most importantly, they learned by doing
Beyond the fun, this activity helped build important early skills.
✅Spatial awareness-- how shapes fit and relate to each other
✅Hand eye coordination -- improving fine motor skills through cutting and tracing
✅Early Math foundation -- recognize patterns, classifying objects, and learning basic geometry concepts
The best part was watching their faces light up as they recognised shapes around them — in the classroom, in their notebooks, even on each other’s outfits!
And today, they reminded us how far a little spark can go. 💛✨
