Tawheed Sheikh is a name closely associated with the Srinagar, Bandipora, Gurez National Highway. Leaving aside political differences, Towheed Sheikh played a significant and consistent role in advocating for the sanctioning of this National Highway. The Better Roads for Bandipora campaign was also initiated by him.

Adv Mudasir Wani , Nasir Khuhamie Samwani Samwani and Mushtaq Ahmad Mir also played an important and consistent role through their efforts, both online and offline, in different capacities.
