In the 3rd year after Hijrah (625 CE), Quraysh sought revenge after their defeat at Badr. The Muslims camped at the slopes of Uhud, facing an army three times their size.

Jamia Masjid Srinagar is one of the most famous and historic mosques in Kashmir, located in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar’s old city. It is considered the main congregational mosque of the region and an important religious and cultural symbol.
