Speaker Turbine.

A speaker is not only a technical device.
It is part of the atmosphere of a space, part of the visual field, part of the interior.

The object is built from a polished stainless steel pipe structure and a double-layer morphology.
An inner matte shell carries the color, while the transparent outer skin acts almost like a filter around it — catching reflections, depth, and light.

Depending on the angle and surrounding conditions, the object continuously changes its appearance through transparency, filtering, and reflection.

Designed by YET

Milan Design Week is a spectacle.

But inside that spectacle, it’s not always clear where real experimentation happens.

With YET FAB, we tried to position our work within that gap.
Not as another object, but as a study — how light can be held, filtered, and shaped through material.

Sometimes the brief arrives from the side door - design of a sound.

We were asked to design a pair of speakers. The challenge: design a speaker with no prior experience which will belong to the store’s design language.

We developed compact, 3D-printed enclosures mounted on a slim stainless stem.

A commission from an unexpected place, and a rewarding one—designing not only what you see, but what you hear.

Baklan started as an exercise in restraint: one print, no supports, no drama.
It ended up as a lamp that makes the room feel like late afternoon. A small, honest object we’re happy to live with.
